Patriots Path is a non-profit organization that supports veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses in finding meaningful employment opportunities by defining career goals, mapping out job search strategies, identifying opportunities, creating a marketing approach and connecting within our community to peers, mentors and coaches for continued networking and support. Let’s get started on your story.
THE 5-PART COURSE INCLUDES
Patriots Path offers a five-part course that provides career transition advice and support for military Veterans (and spouses) as well as active duty personnel, including Guard and Reserve, who are in career transition.
Our online Birkman personality/interests assessment opens the door to understanding your interests, style, needs and stress reactions. It is full of language to use both in resumes and interviews that speaks to not only what you have done in the military but why you were good at it.
Coaches & Mentors
In addition to group workshops, we offer one-on-one sessions with corporate volunteers who share their expertise and knowledge from perspective of recruiters and hiring managers. These sessions focus on resume writing, mock interviews, job shadowing and peer-to-peer support.
Marketing & Networking
We understand the challenges veterans face when separating from active duty and their need to make specific networking connections. Making introductions and offering networking opportunities during class and through our ongoing “Alumni Events” keeps you engaged with the professionals in your community.
Our commitment to your success does not end once you’ve completed the Patriots Path course. Instructors are available for additional support following class completion. We stay in touch to ensure students are finding success in their field and taking advantage of ongoing peer to peer support by offering a continuum of care including frequent, local Alumni Events.
By joining Patriots Path you’ll have ongoing access beyond the workshop to our community of veterans, career mentors and veteran-friendly employers who can assist you in leveraging dynamic information sharing, career guidance, advice, and support. Graduates will also have access to our closed group on LinkedIn.
